Software Engineer
SUMMARY
Researches, designs, and develops software components in accordance with
company plans. Work on consulting projects for clients to enable them
to integrate our products in their software, provide customized solutions
for our products and/or unrelated consulting projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce high quality software tools and/or controls/components in accordance
with the company's plans and quality standards.
Work on consulting projects for clients to enable them to integrate our
products in their software, provide customized solutions for our products
and/or unrelated consulting projects.
Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within
time and cost constraints.
Assist in development of software testing procedures and provide input
to the product documentation team.
Respond to change/enhancement requests and bug fixes in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should have a four year technical degree and a minimum of 2
years demonstrated work experience delivering commercial software products.
Candidate should possess technical knowledge of one of more of the following
skills : C, C++, VC++, .NET, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, XML, MFC, ATL/WTL,
Win32, COM/DCOM, ActiveX, ASP, WinSock and advanced Windows GDI.
OTHER SKILLS
Candidate must possess above average oral and written communication skills.
Candidate must be able to work alone and as part of a team. Candidate
must be able to work under deadline/schedule constraints while producing
high quality code.
Technical Support Engineer
SUMMARY
A highly technical position that requires an individual with
in-depth knowledge of our product-line and the development tools and IDEs
that we support. You must love working with both customers and a development
team. You must be prepared to master the capabilities of our product line.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the support of customers ranging from
independent developers to large organizations in using the company’s
products and to forward any bugs reported in the process to the respective
development team. Daily tasks include: writing sample code, debugging
customer code, and communicating with customers\testing\development teams
in the discovery and tracking of bugs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should have 2-3 years of software development/technical
support experience. Candidate should possess technical knowledge of one
of more of the following skills : C, C++, VC++, .NET, ASP.NET, Windows
Forms, XML, MFC, ATL/WTL, Win32, COM/DCOM, ActiveX, ASP, WinSock and advanced
Windows GDI.
OTHER SKILLS
Ability to work independently and assume responsibility.
Ability to communicate both in spoken and written form in English.
Enjoy working/communicating with people and a genuine desire to help customers.
