Canneverbe Limited are the creators of CDBurnerXP, a popular application to burn CDs and DVDs, including Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs. It also supports burning and creating ISOs, as well as a multi language interface.

Problem

Requirement of UI controls which provide complete Windows Explorer like UI functionality but which can be used in a form and dialog.

Solution

Shell MegaPack was able to meet all these requirements and is used in the main application dialog of CDBurnerXP to allow users to browse files and folders and select them for burning to disc. The Windows Explorer like drag-drop functionality provided by the controls allow users to simply drag the files and folders that they wish to burn and drop them on the 'disc' area.
